Metro Sports MO-KAN Showdown Championships
Premier at the College Basketball Experience
On January 6, 2008, the College Basketball Experience (CBE) was invaded by more than 1200 youth basketball players, coaches, players and fans who gathered for the Metro Sports MO-KAN Showdown Championships.
Ten championship games were played in a span of eleven hours showcasing some of the best youth basketball in Kansas City and surrounding communities.
The College Basketball Experience provided these young players with a "big league" atmosphere to show "their game"! The CBE's collegiate atmosphere and its lights, sights and sounds gave the kids involved in the championship rounds a taste of what basketball  feels like at the collegiate level.
After games were played, players and their families enjoyed the many other attractions and exhibits at the College Basketball Experience.
The CBE attempts to impart important messages of teamwork, sportsmanship, good character and good citizenship to all who visit the facility as well as providing tons of fun for the whole family.
The Metro Sports MO-KAN Showdown was a huge success for all involved and congratulations to all the teams who participated.
