COURT KINGS APPAREL....it's a game changer!
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) in association with its Foundation opened the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame (NCBHOF) in October, 2007. The CBE houses an interactive fan experience and the NCBHOF within its 41,500 square foot building attached to the state-of-the-art Sprint Center arena in downtown Kansas City.
The Founding Class of inductees in the NCBHOF numbered 152 and all had been previously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum. Five individuals were selected to represent the Founding Class as the inaugural Induction Celebration. Those individuals were Dr. James Naismith (posthumous), Oscar Robertson, Dean Smith, Bill Russell and John Wooden. Annual Induction Celebrations are held in November each year in conjunction with the College Basketball Experience Weekend, which features the CBE Classic basketball tournament semifinals and finals that are broadcast on ESPN2 and ESPNU.
The NABC Foundation, Inc. has created a logo to serve as the mark of distinction for the legendary group of basketball coaches, players and contributors who have been inducted into the NCBHOF. These legends are the kings of college basketball and represent the best attributes of the game: inspiration, peerless performance, innovation, passion, sacrifice, teamwork and loyalty.
The logo consists of a five-pointed crown floating over a stylized basketball net that is combined with either the words “Court Kings” or the initials “CK”.
Each Hall of Fame inductee receives a commemorative leather jacket featuring the Court Kings logos and the year of his induction.
The NCBHOF only takes the legends of the game. The coaching giants and All-American players. The kings of the court. These men left their marks on the game. Now make yours. Rule your domain with Court Kings merchandise. It’s a game changer.
