BIO
In 1933, Ed "Moose" Krause became one of the first players in college basketball to average double figures in scoring. His play in the post was so dominant that it led to the establishment of the 3-second rule. He led the Fighting Irish to a 54-12 three-year record and was an All-American three years in a row. Moose eventually became the basketball coach and later director of athletics at Notre Dame.
